Packing Practice

15 Nov

I know that I need some practice in packing. The last time we moved was 34 years ago, and then it was all done by Pickfords. We can’t justify using Pickfords (or anyone else) for our move to France. So the opportunity to test out my packing skills came up yesterday!

My niece, Jessamy, who lives in Woolwich, London, is moving out of her flat today. So last night she invited me up to help her with her packing.

Typically, she had no boxes and no packing materials. She has a busy life as a teacher and has little spare time. So we improvised and withing two hours we had all the kitchen and electrical stuff packed and ready to go.

So thanks Jess for the pre-move test! And good luck with your move today!
